Hi! My name is Oxana.

I am a family storytelling photographer and filmmaker based in Austin, Texas. I like to capture meaningful moments that are more than just beautiful photos. They deserve to be printed and framed to stay with your family for generations.

When I was a child I always loved looking through photo albums and portraits on the walls and listening to the stories that my mother and grandmother told me about our family history. Now my grandmother is not with us anymore and my mother is living far from us, but I can look through the albums and pass our family legacy to my children with photos and stories.

I have very few photos as a child, because our only camera was taken.  From eleven days old to six years of age, I have no photos at all!  In an instant, an entire life of special moments can be gone forever.  One thing I have learned from personal experience is that tangible photos can last generations longer than our ephemeral digital life.

I feel passionately that the legacy of quality photos decorating your house, living in your rooms, and living on the coffee table as an album are a legacy worth treasuring.
